About The Illustrator:

Priyadarshini S Jain has pursued her bachelor’s degree in Visual Arts from Stella Maris College, Chennai. She is an avid doodler and a great admirer of Indian Folk art and traditions. She loves to experiment with simple quirky things. Her work has been published in leading newspapers like The Hindu – Metro Plus, Indian Express and DT Next etc. She also has completed a one year internship at DakshinaChitra Museum.

Priyadarshini is an Illustrator of the Book “This is India Only”. Her inspiration for the book is truly, purely and proudly drawn from ‘Desi India’. Having delved into various art forms she has recreated the vibrant and the beautiful aura of the Indian Culture in her book. She has put her heart and soul into the book to bring out her passion for doodling.

Coloring is a meditative as well as an enjoyable play of creativity and discovery.
